WELCOME TO KIDNEYS ARE SEXY! My name is Paul Noworyta and I had a kidney transplant in 1989. Doctors told me that I might get 10 or even 15 good years out of that kidney before I would need another one; sound familiar? Well, fast-forward 14 years to 2003, and I had become the world's first and only transplant recipient to compete on the professional vert skating circuit (Google me!). I'm now 50 years old, 30 years post-transplant, still flipping and spinning on the BIG vert ramp with that same kidney and I've never felt better!
